The nominated works will be performed by the Moscow Contemporary Music Ensemble (MCME) at the 7th St. Petersburg International New Music Festival.
Within the framework of the VII St. Petersburg International New Music Festival, reMusik.org offers a Composition Course which will be held in May 2020. Thirty-six composers will be selected through a portfolio application process to meet and work with renowned composers and internationally acclaimed ensembles invited to this year’s festival.
Organum Novum is a new platform for the realization of different projects in the field of contemporary organ music with the aim of introducing organ music to a wider audience.
At the end of the course some participants were rewarded. The composition by Simone Cardini (Italy) will be performed at the reMusik.org Festival in May 2020 and his score together with pieces by composers Oleg Krokhalev (Russia) and Kaito Nakahorito (Japan) will be published by Edition reMusik.org.
Sound Plasma is a mini festival dedicated to music with alternative intonation, in broadest definition of the term. This year’s events in Berlin will be held from November 1st to 3rd, 2019 at the Acker Stadt Palast.
Students of the creative composing lab will have a nine-day opportunity to attend lectures and individual classes led by composers with extensive teaching experience as well as collaborate on their compositions with six new music ensembles in the workshop format.
