The Escola Superior de Música de Catalunya announces its 20th edition of the Joan Guinjoan International Prize for Young Composers.
The competition is addressed to composers under age 35 by December 1st, 2021. The winner receives a 3000€ neto economic prize and the premier of the work in Barcelona in 2022. Works must be in contemporary style, 10 to 15 minutes long, with 6 to 15 instruments chosen as specified in the conditions. Deadline is December 1st, 2021.
