Eligibility
Current High school students ages 14-18 on or before February 1st, 2022 are eligible to apply.
Instrumentation
Flute, clarinet, violin, cello, piano. Compositions may be scored for any subsets of the instrumentation listed from solo to quintet.
Length
Compositions may not exceed 10 minutes in length.

Composers must include the following materials:
Full score (PDF format only, do not include parts).
Receipt of application fee submission.
It is strongly encouraged that composers also include these additional materials in their application:
Audio recording of the piece (MP3 preferable, though MIDI rendering is acceptable)
Program Notes.
Fee
$15 each composition. Composers may submit up to 3 works per person. Entry fee accepted online via this link*.

Judging
A panel of judges will choose three winning compositions as First Prize, Second Prize, and Third Prize, to be awarded a high-quality recording by professional musicians. A recording session by professional musicians will be held on March 21st, 2022. Awardees will receive the edited recording in April 2022. It is strongly preferred that the prize winners be present at the recording session; however, at this time the committee cannot provide financial support towards airfare and accommodations for travel arrangements.
