About Common Tone Arts:
COMMON | ‘kämən | TONE | tōn
noun 1. A shared note, or tone, between two otherwise unrelated chords that often serves as a bridge between distant keys

In music, a Common Tone is used to help connect one distantly related chord or key to another. We believe that art is the bridge that can connect distantly related people and cultures together: that bring us together in our shared aspirations, illuminate the human experience, and transcend our limitations.
