Call for Scores: Prismatic Congruency

The Boston New Music Initiative is announcing a call for solos to be programmed as part of BNMI’s thirteenth season digital presentation series “Prismatic Congruency.” Incorporated in 2010, BNMI aims to advance the careers of its members in the field of new music by serving as a resource for networking, professional development, commissioning, collaboration, and programming. The call is open for all solo acoustic, electro-acoustic, and multimedia works. The competition is open to all composers with no restrictions.

The new series “Prismatic Congruency” will present a series of solo works in several 20-30 minute video collections released throughout the season. When submitting to the call, your work will become part of a database of solo works that performers can look through to find repertoire. BNMI will have core ensemble members choose several works to be part of the series, and unaffiliated performers can find your solos, and submit videos for inclusion as well. If you would like to submit an existing video performance, please go here.
