announces Call for Scores for the 2021
violin and guitar
The NED Ensemble, during its 13th Contemporary Music Festival “Music light, la leggerezza nella musica di oggi” announces, in collaboration with the SIMC, “Call for scores violin and guitar” to find new compositions to be included in the 13th Contemporary Music Festival, scheduled for April 2021 in the concert hall “Andrea Celesti”, located in Desenzano del Garda (Italy).
Call for Scores is open to composers of all nationalities, with no age limit.
The submitted compositions can be unexecuted or already carried out in public, even the scores already bound with publishing contracts can participate in the “Call for Scores”
Compositions of any style and aesthetics can participate, maximum 10 minutes length.
It is not permitted to use any type of electronic and/or amplification.
Call for scores – violin and guitar
Deadline at 23:59 on March 25, 2021
The scores (maximum two for each candidate) will have to be written for violin and guitar and will be performed by Miranda Mannucci (violin) and Mattia Fogato (guitar)
Up to three pieces will be selected and performed at the 13th Festival of NED Ensemble at the Celesti auditorium on April 25, 2021.
Video Recording – The recording will be taken the concerts.
Digital Publishing – The recording will be published on our website via You Tube , enabling a lasting legacy for personal and/or commercial purposes.

scores in pdf or permanent download link;
brief biography (up to 500 characters in Italian or English) also containing the following sentence for privacy: I authorize the processing of my personal data pursuant to Legislative Decree 30 June 2003, n. 196 “Code regarding the protection of personal data”;
brief description of the piece/s (max 300 characters in Italian or English)

Jury and results
The results of the selection, curated by the Artistic Director of the NED Ensemble Andrea Mannucci, by SIMC President Andrea Talmelli and by the NED Ensemble members will be announced to the participants and published on the website (www.nedensemble.com).
