Festival Escuta Aqui! announces two Call for Scores:
Call for Scores I:
It is open for Brazilian composers that do not hold a college degree in Musical Composition.
Composers can submit pieces in two categories:
CATEGORY A (pieces for solo instrument): Piano, percussion or saxophone.
CATEGORY B: Pieces for piano and percussion duo.
Selected composers will participate in workshops and masterclasses with the following composers: Januibe Tejera, Nuno Figueiredo, Tatiana Catanzaro and Sara Carvalho. The selected pieces will be recorded and presented in an online concert. All activities of the festival are online.
Call for Scores II:
It is open for South American composers (without any restriction of age or education).
Composers can submit pieces in two categories:
Category A: Pieces for solo flute.
Category B: Pieces for violin and percussion duo.
The selected pieces will be recorded and presented in an online concert.
