MID SIDE Aps, Social Advancement Association aims to promote and encourage contemporary art in all of its forms. With this project it intends to support and promote composers and multimedia artists allowing both the public performance and online distribution of their works.
The call is open to composers of any nationality, with no restrictions whatsoever.
It will be possible to participate alone or in a group and only one work per person/group will be accepted.
The selected works will be performed during the first edition of the “REF – Resilience Festival” 2021, powered by MID SIDE Aps – association based in the Foggia (Italy) area. Details rebarding the date and location of the REF – Resilience Festival will be communicated after the call’s deadline. The way in which the festival takes place will be subject to any changes or unforeseen events caused by COVID19.
The acusmatic compositions will be released on the album FIXED vol.1, distributed worldwide by EMPIRICA music label on all digital platforms (Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music, YouTube Music, Deezer, Tidal, AWA, 7 Digital, Anghami, ClaroMusica, MediaNet, Pandora, Slacker, TikTok, Alibaba, Kanjian, Napster ecc..). Audio/video productions will be published on the official YouTube channel MID SIDE TV.
The participation fee is 7 €, meant as a donation to Mid Side Aps to support the costs of the project.
