ELIGIBILITY:
Any composer is eligible to apply regardless of age.
APPLICATION DEADLINE:
November 30, 2022
(by 11:59pm, Eastern European Time)
APPLICATION MATERIALS:
Through the online application form (forms.gle), composers should submit a permanent link
to one (preferably Dropbox or Google Drive) folder, which should contain the following:
1. CV and Bio (max 200 words) (.pdf) in English, combined in one file
2. Two Recent Works [scores (.pdf) | audio (.mp3) | links to videos]
3. HQ Artistic Photo (.jpeg) to be used in case of acceptance
4. Receipt of payment of application fee (€12) (.pdf)
CATEGORY:
In the application form, the applicant will be asked to choose the category [CATEGORY A: Mixed Media or CATEGORY B: Acoustic] to which they are applying.
PARTICIPANTS:
16 composers will be selected:
-12 as Fully-Active participating in two distinct categories to have lessons, give presentations, attend lectures, and write new works to be extensively rehearsed and performed at the closing concerts of the forum.
-4 as Partially-Active to have lessons, attend lectures, and write short works to be read by the ensemble-in-residence.
Notes on the application submission:
• At least one recording is required.
• Midi recordings will not be acceptable.
• All recordings should strictly be in MP3 format. Provide links to videos.
• Submitted works could be of any instrumentation.
• For Category A applicants: At least one work with electronics is required.
• Make sure the link to your folder is permanent. Applications with expired or non-functional links will be automatically rejected.
