Dariya Maminova

BIOGRAPHY

Dariya Maminova (*1988, Saint-Petersburg, Russia) is a pianist and composer based in Cologne, works in the fields instrumental music, musical theatre, improvisation, music and video, music and dance, electroacoustic music.

Studied piano at the Rimsky-Korsakov St. Petersburg Conservatory, studied composition in the Hochschule für Musik Detmold with Prof. Fabien Lévy and in the Hochschule für Musik und Tanz Köln with prof. Johannes Schöllhorn and Brigitta Muntendorf. At different times studied and/or attended master classes with Mark Andre, Klaus Lang, Francesco Filidei, Georges Aperghis, Simon Steen-Andersen, Enno Poppe, Jennifer Walshe, Dmitri Kourliandski, Clara Iannotta, Carola Bauckholt, Yannis Kyriakides, Alessandro Solbiati, Sergej Newski, Mauro Lanza, Gilbert Nouno, Hanna Hartman, David Helbich, Gerome Combier, Elzbieta Sikora.

Dariya is performer and composer at the «MAMI NOVA project» (http://mami-nova.com). Participant of the new music festivals/projects «Power in Sound: The Music of Galina Ustvolskaya» (Chicago, 2017); «Acht Brücken Köln» (Cologne, 2017); «Wort trifft Ton» collaboration with a poet Ulrike Almut Sandig (Cologne, 2017); «Music Anthology of young Russian Composers» (2017); «VII International Young Composers Academy in Tchaikovsky city (Perm Region)» (Russia, 2017); «6.
