The Saint-Petersburg Contemporary Music Center reMusik.org is pleased to announce the result of the first selection round for composition course will be held within the framework of the VI St. Petersburg International New Music Festival, taking place from May 20th — 26th, 2019.
Time of Music Festival offers in the summer 2019 interesting opportunities to study contemporary music with the world’s first and foremost composers, pedagogues and musicians. We welcome all interested music students and young professionals, both composers and musicians to deepen their knowledge of the classics of contemporary music and enhance their skills in composition and improvisation.
The Composition Course gives participants access to distinguished composers, workshops, composition lessons, lectures and master classes while affording each participant ample time to compose in a relaxed environment and enjoying from the festival concerts.
Composers of all ages and nationalities may apply.
mdi ensemble and Accademia Filarmonica Romana promote for the first time New Music Week, a new initiative dedicated to contemporary music. It consists of a week-long workshop, from May 20th to 25th 2019.
New release is a work created by use of the experimental ways exploring modular synthesizer, vibromotors, cymbals and drums effects. The interest of presented work relates to the use of error signals obtained in solving forecasting problems with a linear neural network for constructing a musical composition.
