For this call for scores we have a growing number of quintets joining the project. Each quintet will select a work by a composer(s) they wish to perform.
Requirements:
• This call for scores is open to all composers.
• Single movement, multi-movement works and movements from larger works are all acceptable. Works must not exceed 10 minutes.
• Works must be composed for Wind Quintet (flute, oboe, clarinet, horn and bassoon)
• Compositions must be original works. All musical aesthetics are welcomed.
• Composers can submit a maximum of three compositions.
• Works may have previously been performed but not published.
• Selected compositions will be performed in the Autumn/Fall of 2021.
• There is no entry fee for this call scores.
• Deadline for all materials is 1st June 2021.
Submission Instructions:
• Send a clearly formatted score in PDF format and recording in MP3 format. Recordings can be MIDI files.
• Optional: you may wish to include a short composer bio and/or programme note.
• Scores and other submission material should be sent to windquintetnetwork@gmail.com
• Deadline for all materials is 1st June 2021.
