Meitar Ensemble announces the 7th Matan Givol International Composers Competition. Composers from all over the world are invited to submit works for Meitar Ensemble, the competition is an open call for composers of all ages and nationalities.
The winning piece will be performed and live recorded in a concert under the baton of Pierre-André Valade on June 30th 2022 in Studio Annette, Tel Aviv.
Two prizes will be awarded: 1st prize, 1,500 Euros and 2nd prize, 500 Euros (gross sums).
Instruments: The compositions submitted for the competition must be written for 3-8 instruments from the following: Flute, clarinet, bassoon, violin, viola, cello, percussion & piano (Usage of electronics – optional).
