highSCORE Festival is today’s leading Italian Contemporary Music Festival offering unique programs with masterclasses specifically shaped for composers, one of the «ten Summer festivals to get the contemporary music blood pumping» (Composition: Today).
The upcoming 11th edition (August 9-21, 2021), completely online, will feature an outstanding Faculty roster: Steven Mackey, guest of honor; Amy Beth Kirsten, David Serkin Ludwig, Helena Tulve and Dmitri Tymoczko.
All works will be recorded in two albums to be published by Da Vinci Classics and released physically (CD) and digitally, or featured in videos to be published on YouTube. The guest performers who will record the music submitted by participant composers are Simone Beneventi, Quartetto Zuena, unassisted fold, and Giovanni Albini.
