The Department for Equality and Diversity of the Students’ Union at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna (MDW) organizes a composition competition in the academic year 2022/2023 with the title: “Eine Stimme steht im Dunkel…”.
Compositions for voice(s) (solo to quartet) and piano based on selected poems by 20th-century female poets should be submitted. The aim is to make the names of their works visible and to give them a voice. Deadline: 02/20/2023
We invite composers* of any age and nationality to enter the competition.
