The call is open to composers of any age and nationality.
The selected works will be premiered by Strings Crossed at the Festival Assisi Suono Sacro (Assisi, Italy) in July-August 2021, as well as recorded and provided to the composer.
The recordings will be accessible through the Strings Crossed YouTube channel and shared on its social media pages.
GUIDELINES
– Each composer may submit up to two scores
– All pieces must be written for this call
– Duration: any (up to 10 minutes)
– Score requirements: work (can also be a group of smaller pieces or movements) for violin and harp without electronics; it can include extended techniques and/or prepared instruments

– a short biography (as well as links to your social media pages, if available);
– short program notes about the piece.
