ELIGIBILITY
American composers (U.S. citizens or permanent residents) who have completed degrees in music composition, or have equivalent experience, are encouraged to apply. Reflecting the desire of the San Francisco Choral Society to broaden its community of composers, priority will be given to composers from underrepresented and historically disenfranchised communities.

PROPOSAL SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS
Proposals and all supporting materials must be submitted by Friday, April 16, 2021. Results will be communicated to composers by Monday, May 17, 2021.
All applicants must submit the following:
– Composer’s contact information (name, phone number, physical mailing address, email address, and website URL, if any).
– 3 representative works, scores and recordings. All scores must be properly engraved and submitted as PDFs.
– Scores should be identified with the composer’s name.
– Recordings of samples are strongly preferred, but MIDI realizations are acceptable.
– Work samples should be composed within the last 5 years.
– Resume
– Short paragraph to describe the composer’s sound and approach.
