2021 Call for Live Streams – PARMA Recordings

2021 Call for Live Streams

PARMA is now accepting planned live-stream concerts for consideration to be hosted on our Live Stage and PARMA Music Festival platforms. Classical, contemporary classical, jazz, world, and fusion music concerts will be considered for this collaboration.

PARMA’s Live Stage and PARMA Music Festival virtual concerts receive a custom event page and promotion by our Publicity Team leading up to the event. Our live streams are free for audiences to view and are accessible within our video archive after the premiere date.

Please see below for more information, and reach out to info@parmarecordings.com if you have any questions. We look forward to checking out your upcoming concerts!

Guidelines
There is no fee to submit.

All costs for hosting and promoting the live streams are subsidized by PARMA.

Artists must have access to streaming equipment and be able to broadcast the concert through a streaming platform like Facebook, YouTube, Vimeo, etc.

Concerts should ideally be between 30 and 70 minutes long, but exceptions will be considered.

Artists may encourage donations during the concert via their personal website, Venmo, or whichever service they prefer and can post this information within the video description itself.

How to Apply
Submit your concert information via our submission form.

PARMA’s Performance Committee will review all submissions. If your event is a good fit for the PARMA Live Stage or PARMA Music Festival, a member of the PARMA team will reach out to discuss the next steps.

PARMA Live Stage

In March 2020, we established the PARMA Live Stage, an interactive virtual theater to house benefit concerts, video premieres, and performances anywhere from artists’ home studios to the UNESCO World Heritage Building of Villa Tugendhat. Since its inception, we’ve hosted over 50 concerts and events, all available for the public to tune in.

PARMA Music Festival
Since its inception in 2013, the 501(c)3 non-profit PARMA Music Festival has dedicated itself to presenting new, innovative, and enjoyable contemporary music spanning classical, jazz, electronic, experimental, and more in venues from New York City to Havana Cuba and beyond.

From world premieres with legendary award winners (“Elegy” by composer Lukas Foss, performed by clarinetist Richard Stoltzman) to prominent debut performances by emerging ensembles (Apollo Chamber Players featured on Cuba national television) to beloved family classics in beautiful settings (seaside concerts of “Peter & The Wolf” by the Portsmouth Symphony Orchestra) the PARMA Music Festival has consistently and simultaneously broken new ground and provided high-quality, accessible experiences with its programming and concept.
