The project is carried out jointly with the Moscow Contemporary Music Ensemble and the Composers Union of Russia from April 25 – 28 in Kazan city.

This project provides an opportunity for the deepest immersion in the process of creating a new piece: from a sketch, working with musicians in 2 reading sessions to the world premiere of the finished composition!
The World Premieres of the pieces by the participants will be performed in October 2023 at the Sounding House of Sofia festival (Kazan, Russia) by the Moscow Contemporary Music Ensemble MCME!
The workshop will also include concerts by the Moscow Contemporary Music Ensemble MCME and the Orchestra of the Sofia Gubaidulina Center for Contemporary Music!
Individual lessons and lectures with young composers will also be in the process of working on the new pieces.
Reading sessions are expected to have a free format of communication. The composer can present the composition in any form: finished score, sketch, graphic image, etc. At the request of the participant, it is possible to work with each performer individually to clarify the aspects necessary for the composer.
Some individual lessons will take place online before the live part of the workshop (in the process of working on the piece)
Lectures by Guest Composers will take place online in April, before the start of the live part of the workshop.
Composers from any country can take part in the workshop. For foreign participants it is possible to participate online.
There are no age restrictions.
Participation rules are presented in Russian and English
