A memorial scholarship has been established in honor of Composer and Conductor Edward Hosharian to
assist Armenian students in pursuit of their educational goals in music. EHF is now accepting scholarship
applications for 2022.
One scholarship of $5,000 will be awarded
Scholarship application criteria:
• Armenian descent
• Financial need
• Full-time student at an Accredited 4-year College or University in the United States of America
(Community Colleges do not qualify)
• Entering sophomore status or above
• Major in music performance or composition
Materials required:
• Completed application
• Personal Statement
• Official Transcripts (mailed directly by institution)
• Two letters of recommendation from instructors or advisors (emailed or mailed
directly from instructors/advisors)
• Performance majors – YouTube link of a performance or self-made video
• Composition majors – Upload two scores of compositions
