The Nomadic Soundsters (NS) Residency Program is a year-long virtual program that provides artists of all disciplines the opportunity to collaborate on multimedia projects. Residents will be grouped together based on similar and complementary interests to collaborate on one short-term project and one long-term project. Residents will have the opportunity to participate in exclusive workshops led by guest artists, have their works premiered and showcased across the web, and expand their network of professional artists. Groups will have the freedom to shape their projects and will benefit from weekly feedback from the NS Core Team. The NS Summer Showcase, scheduled at the beginning of September, will feature all short-term projects, and the NS Annual Spring Celebration will feature all long-term projects at the end of March.
Once the residency is complete, artists will automatically become an official lifelong Nomadic Soundster, which means continuing to have the opportunity to collaborate on future projects, partake in educational outreach activities, and become a fellow mentor for future residents.
Applications are open to artists of all disciplines ages 18 years and older (eg. sound designers, composers, musicians, digital media artists, choreographers/dancers, photographers, videographers, etc).
