One composer will be comissioned to write a piece and then have the chance to spend a week in our beautiful village near Valencia (www.potries.org) during the month of April (dates to be determined with the candidate) to workshop the piece.
The new work will then be premiered in three different festivals:
– Contemporary music festival Mostra Sonora de Sueca www.mostrasonorasueca.com
– Potries Music Fest. www.musicfest.potries.org
– Cicle Concerts Monestir de la Valldigna www.simat.org
There will be a prize of 600 Euros, and travel, accommodation (in www.lacambracasarural.com) and expenses will also be covered. The application fee will be 10 Euros.
