The Eleventh International Young Composers Academy in Tchaikovsky-city under artistic direction of composer Alexander Khubeev will be held from 30th August to 14th September 2021 in Chaykovsky, Perm Krai, Russia. The final concerts will take place in Tchaikovsky-city (September, 13) and in Moscow (September, 15).
Composers Philippe Hurel (France), Isabel Mundry (Germany) and Nadir Vassena (Switzerland) are tutors invited for conducting the Academy.
The jury will select 22 young composers (10 students, 5 trainees and 7 observers) from all over the world, their new pieces for 1-5 instruments will be performed by Moscow Contemporary Music Ensemble (MCME) at the final concert series. The Academy will host concerts, lectures, meetings, master classes and presentations.
Accommodation, meals and transport inside Russia are covered by the Academy.
